Step 1. Buy a high quality solar floodlight such as the Centurian Solar Motion Security Light (Model: COR30L). This will mean that you need to buy a solar powered, super bright light LED (halogen lamp equivalent of at least 200 Watts) with a motion sensor, and mount it at second floor level or higher if possible on the adjacent property or wall as we will now describe.
Step2. Use the supplied template to position the locations of the screw fixing holes on your wall or fascia, and drill the necessary holes using the size of drill bit stated in the instructions, to the depth indicated in the instructions (or deep enough to take the full screw depth into the hole). Which means that you have prepared the wall or fascia ready to fix the floodlight bracket.
Step 3. Use your screwdriver to screw the screws into the wall or fascia with the back plate (if provided). This will require the right type of screwdriver (usually a "star" type) and then offer up the floodlight fixing bracket and lamp assembly to the screws and back plate. At this point the lamp fitting including the lamp itself and the motion sensor (PIR) will be fixed to the wall or fascia.
Step 4. Loosen off all screws to the lamp and motion sensor brackets and move both so that they both point to the area to be illuminated.
Step 5. Repeat the above fixing process to affix the solar light collection cell in a location within the length of the cable supplied, where it will receive full sunlight.
Step 6. Plug in the inter-connecting cable supplied.
